A Nail Salon Near Johnsonville, Without the Mall
If you live in Johnsonville, you already have nail options. There are salons in and around the mall, and they will get you in and out. The reason a lot of Johnsonville women end up driving the extra five minutes to me instead is not price, and it is not really the nails. It is the hour itself.
Nails by Kirstie is a one-on-one Bio Sculpture studio at 24 Foxham Terrace in Churton Park. One chair, one client, no queue behind you and no one else booked in. For a lot of my Johnsonville regulars, it is the only hour in their week where nobody needs anything from them.

Getting here from Johnsonville
It is about five minutes by car. Head north on Middleton Road or up through Churton Park Drive and you are here before the radio finishes a song. If you are coming from the Johnsonville Mall end, it is a straight run and you will not hit the motorway at all.
The part that matters more than the drive: there is free off-street parking directly outside. No circling the mall car park, no time limits, no walking back in the rain. You park, you come to the front door, and your appointment starts.
What makes this different from a mall nail salon
I want to be fair here, because plenty of salons do good work. The difference is structural, not a matter of one being better at painting nails.
A busy salon runs on turnover. There are several chairs, several technicians, and a schedule that assumes you will be moved through in a set time. That works fine when you know exactly what you want and you want it quickly. It works less well when you are not sure, when your nails need actual attention, or when you want removal done slowly and properly rather than filed off in ten minutes.
Because I only ever have one client at a time, none of that pressure exists. If you sit down and change your mind about the colour, we change it. If your nails need repair work before anything goes on top, we do that first. Nobody is waiting for the chair.
Bio Sculpture only, on natural nails
I am a fully Bio Sculpture qualified technician and I work exclusively with that system. It bonds directly to the natural nail without primers, dehydrators or bonders, which are the products most responsible for the thin, sore nails people come to me trying to fix. It stays flexible, so it moves with your nail rather than cracking off it, and it is completely vegan and cruelty-free.
A set typically lasts two to three weeks, often longer. The full detail on how the system works, and every service and price, is on the gel nails page.
Worth knowing before you book: natural nails only. I do not offer acrylics, BIAB, SNS or extensions, and I am not able to remove acrylic or BIAB. If you currently have any of those on and are not sure what they are, message me first and we will work it out before you drive over.

Everything runs through Setmore, so you can see live availability rather than messaging back and forth. Evening appointments run until 8pm Tuesday to Thursday, which suits people coming straight from work in Johnsonville or the city.
